We have training options to fit every behaviour and need. Anything from puppy and basic obedience to fear and reactivity concerns. We can help you build your relationship with your dog and get you working in harmony with one another. A well trained and mentally stimulated dog is a well behaved dog.
About Me
Ashley Hoover, CPDT-KA, DCBC, BSc
My dog training journey began when I brought home a puppy that didn't fit with what I thought I knew about obedience training. I found a class to take with him that was different than anything I had done before in other dog classes, but that aligned with what I had studied in animal behaviour within my Bachelor of Science degree. I became so invested in helping him and learning more, I went to work for the company. Through them, I gained a DCBC certification that eventually led me to receiving my CPDT-KA designation.
Along the way, I realized I had a passion for helping others through the same challenges that I faced, and that there is a huge need for education on science based training as many of the old school methods are still prevalent in the dog training community. Striving to create change in an industry with little regulation has brought me to launch Spawt On!
Services
Private Consultation - Up to 90 minutes one on one with the trainer in your home or at a location of your choice. These sessions cover any topics and include a written summary after the session so you can continue to work on all you learned. Initial Consult $90, Follow Up $75
Phone/Video Consultation - 60 minute one on one remote session with the trainer. These sessions cover any topics and include a written summary after the session so you can continue to work on all you learned. $60
Kid Safety Sessions - 45 minute one on one session with the trainer in your home or at a location of your choice. These shorter sessions are geared towards the younger crowd and focus on teaching them proper ways to engage with their dogs while having fun and staying safe. These sessions include a written summary with specific kid friendly handouts. $70
One on One Training Walk - dog walking service for dogs that need a bit extra on their walks. Your dog will go on a walk with the trainer and work on everything from basic obedience and leash manners, to fear/reactivity concerns. These sessions include some video from the walk showing what is being worked on and tips for you to continue to practice when you are out.
30 min - $30 60 min - $55
Add Ons - Need something extra? These services can be added to your dog's Training Walk bookings and include options such as nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing or handling work to get your dogs comfortable if they are not ready.
